Road Range Unlike many other calipers in the market our range have been specifically designed with road use in mind. As a result they are fully dust sealed to protect from the ingress of dirt so protecting the pistons from damage and corrosion. The majority of other calipers do not incorporate dust seals and harsh weather conditions can cause the pistons to seize leading to unreliability. Hi Spec use dust seals to safeguard the long term efficiency of the caliper. The Hi Spec range of calipers come in a wide range of colours as well as our "Economy" range.
The CNC machined lightweight aluminium body has a rigid design, engineered to eliminate flex as suffered by many other calipers. They also feature internal fluid crossover which eliminates external tubing. The pistons are available in a variety of sizes to ensure the caliper is personalised to your needs and ideally suited to your car. Calipers are available to suit discs from 12mm to 35mm.
Race Range Especially designed for harsh track requirements, these calipers utilise thin walled stainless steel pistons to reduce heat transfer and high temperature square seals which control piston retraction. The Racing calipers have been designed to give extra rigidity which promotes excellent pedal feel. Like our road range both the body of the caliper and the pistons are hard anodised inside and out to protect from corrosion.
Although designed with a compact body the Racing calipers, CNC machined for high accuracy, still have a large pad area for outstanding braking performance. In a class of their own they are designed especially for racing purposes and are very lightweight four and six pot calipers. The Racing calipers suit disc widths from 10mm to 35mm. |
